i have a lot of things to say, but i have to be fair to my fellow peers as my thoughts are purely one sided. sometimes, i hate to admit that i am a slacker, but at least my attitude is not affecting anyone. i felt that whenever i made a mistake, the matter will blow up and leave a lasting impression to anyone. why human beings will always be mindful of other people weakness, rather than remembering the good things they did instead?

okay. i said too much. awaiting for my ord date!

university choices

i had popeye with my secondary mates yesterday. kfc’s chicken is much more nicer and the indulgence has made me craving for more today. but, i will prefer to have dim sum today instead.

anyway, we were discussing about our degree choices and the debate was more on how old we will be when we graduate from those full time courses. full time courses may prevent me from getting a permanent job and seriously speaking, i am not young anymore. if i have choices like nus, ntu and smu, then i wont hesitate in taking the full time option. but if im only qualified for those lesser recognized degrees, then part time will be a better option.

but i have another dilemma. i don’t wish to take up business but those courses that are related to public relations or journalism and i will have trouble coping up with it. how? psychology at psb do interests me but its science and i dont even like science at all.

im only passionate about history. i remembered being so interested in history during my teenage years but.. sigh! how?

number 1: minimize the time and money spent on club

number 2: indent rations at cookhouse and cut down my expenses on tea-break

number 3: hibernate more during weekends

number 4: have dinner at home during weekends

number 5: turn back the clock so i can work hard for ocs to be paid 1000 dollars monthly

number 6: saving up my upcoming ang bao money for the near future

number 7: be even more stingy

number 8: grow up and get down to earth

a quick update of my latest additions of entertainment devices.

my miotv has arrived. one month free of all channels but the configuration was very troublesome. i had to purchase some gadget at 5 dollars per mth for 1 yr to solve the wiring issues. as for the compatibility side, i have to purchase a new router as my old one cant convert it to a switch or probably i have no idea how to do it. therefore, i have decided to purchase a brand new router to solve my wireless internet problem. im really worried that if my line is faulty, means my miotv will not work at all. whereas for starhub tv, they used a cable which is definitely more efficient than a adsl phone line. ZZ

i have extended my starhub tv contract as well to a further 12 months. the benefits are great as my channel 55 is free for 12 months and in addition, they given me a maxonline 2mb free for 12 months as well. i never intended to cancel my starhub tv at all as i have a soft spot for hong kong dramas. but, i read on the contract that u need to have at least $40 for your subscription plan to have this free perks. but, i did clarify over the phone that i will cancel my sports channels at around may – june. so my cable bill will read at $25.68 (including gst) that works out a difference of 15 dollars and the operator told me it will alright. i hope they don’t trick me and they better don’t!

okay. time to get a new router. budget $65 (including gst)

a new year, a new start.

therefore my new year resolution is to grow up. just grow up to be a tougher person that will never give up in times of adversity.

lastly, i want to improve on my writing skills. that is another resolution of mine.
